Who we are
StaffVoice (staffvoice.co.uk) is the data controller for this service. You can reach us at hello@staffvoice.co.uk.
What we process
- An organisation contact email, the delivery address staff supply so a notification can reach their school or workplace leadership.
- Submission content, the issue, optional suggestion, and category a staff member writes. Submissions carry no name, no IP address, and no identifier linking them to the person who wrote them.
Lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interest: notifying a manager, in their professional capacity, that members of their staff have raised issues they did not feel able to say directly. The contact email is used only to send that notification and to grant the manager access to read what was raised at their organisation.
Staff submitter emails
When a staff member submits an issue we send them a one-time verification email to confirm they work at the organisation they named. That email address is used once for verification and then immediately discarded. It is never stored against the submission, never shown to the manager, and never linked back to the issue in any way.
Your rights
You have the right to object to our processing and the right to request deletion of your data. A manager who has claimed their organisation can delete all data for that organisation from within the reader page. Anyone else can request deletion by emailing hello@staffvoice.co.uk.
Retention
Submissions and the organisation contact email are retained only for as long as needed to deliver the service. They are deleted on request, and verification emails are discarded immediately after the one-time check.
